Laboratories and Offices

Four-story building used for laboratories and offices. Built with a mixed steel-concrete structure (NPS technology) on deep foundations with drilled piles, ground floor on pilotis, reinforced concrete elevator shaft and internal steel staircase. Peculiarities that made the structural work direction burdensome: due to the impossibility of access to the site with bulky vehicles during the day, the semi-prefabricated steel structures (NPS pillars and beams)were transported and erected during night hours, during the winter season-a part of the second floor is cantilevered above the roof of the existing shed; this required special arrangements in the concrete pouring stages and the installation of some steel stays.
