Restoration of Certaldo's main church, built in 1860 and located in the town's central square. The building complex is protected by the Superintendence of Florence. Work was carried out in the period 2013-2018. Cross plan (33x54 m) height 20 m. Consolidation of the cross vaults of the aisles, the barrel vaults of the nave and the semi-dome of the apse by means of stainless steel strand fabrics and inorganic mortars compatible with the bricks present. Insertion of steel chains at the impost sections of the arches of the aisles and the dome covers the high altar. Renovation of the secondary wooden roof warping with the construction of steel curbing. Restoration of the wooden trusses of the nave with insertion of prostheses in the non-recoverable elements.
