In the hilly area of Serravalle Pistoiese, a farm needed a new barn for cattle housing with an adjoining semi-buried room for parking the numerous agricultural machineries. The roof of the barn was made of boomerang-shaped glulam beams. Special attention was paid to the durability of the works due to the aggressive environmental conditions (from a chemical point of view).
